The Atlanta Bar Family Law Section is teaming up with Bethany Christian Services, a highly regarded,non-profit 501(C)(3) adoption organization, to offer adoption services to its clients who cannot otherwise afford counsel. The seminar will focus on training any interested attorney in adoption law and the handling of a simple adoption proceeding. This is one of the few joyous occasions for both the practicing attorney and family, as well as the judge. By signing up for this pro bono opportunity, an attorney will agree to undertake one adoption referral from Bethany. Attorneys must have malpractice insurance coverage in order to participate. Sherry Neal, of Neal &Wright LLC, will conduct the training with the assistance of other expert adoption counsel.
