Scott’s Run began in honor of Scott Starratt, a Marietta native, and officer of the INS (now the Department of Homeland Security). He stood out among his peers for his kindness
and compassion for these foreign children who ended up in detention. Scott died in an automobile accident in 2001. All proceeds go directly to Catholic Charities’ Children Programs in his honor so that these youngsters have legal representation and are afforded every opportunity for a chance of a new life in America...
