Dear Colleague,
Following the regular business meeting of the Board of Governors at the Bar Center in Atlanta on Thursday, September 25, Nancy and I invite you to join us for an optional trip to Toronto. With the stellar guidance of State Bar meetings director Michelle Garner and former U.S. Ambassador Gordon Giffin, we have put together a trip that combines informative professional meetings with an autumn getaway to “the New York City of Canada” and an excursion to Niagara Falls and the heart of Ontario wine country that you are sure to enjoy. The enclosed brochure provides an overview of our plans.
These optional Board of Governors trips over the past few years have enabled our judges and lawyers to build harmonious working relationships that advance the unity of the Bench and the Bar. If you have not joined us before on an optional trip, I hope you will join us for this one.
