Learn about some less-common issues you may encounter in a family law case, including QDROs, immigration issues and tax ramifications at "FAMILY LAW: Avoiding Possible Pitfalls" continuing legal education seminar on Friday, September 26, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Approval of 3.25 hours state CLE is anticipated.

The session features presenters Mark Konrad of Principal Financial Group, Law Department; Sonia Parras-Konrad, Director of the MUNA Legal Clinic; and Tamara Borland, Project Manager of Iowa Legal Aid's Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic. The session is sponsored by Iowa's Volunteer Lawyers Projects and is scheduled for 12 sites around the state over the Iowa Communications Network.
