Augusta Regional Office of Georgia Legal Services Program receives economic stimulus funds to serve homeless

The Augusta Regional Office of Georgia Legal Services Program has been awarded $45,000 in economic stimulus funds to provide legal services to clients facing homelessness. GLSP  is one of ten Augusta agencies that serve the homeless or those on the verge of homelessness that were granted $925,319 from the federal stimulus act.  The new funding for homeless legal services project was awarded by Augusta Housing and Community Development.
