A new Brennan Center report, titled Foreclosures: A Crisis in Legal Representation. The report documents low-income homeowners' lack of access to legal representation when facing the complicated world of foreclosures, and the dire consequences produced by this crisis in legal representation. The report recommends several federal policy actions at this time of great need, including increased funding for the Legal Services Corporation and the repeal of key legal services funding restrictions.
