Monahan honored at American Bar Association Meeting

Michael Monahan, Director of the State Bar Pro Bono Project, was honored by the American Bar Association on May 14, 2010, with its Pro Bono Professional of the Year for 2010 at the ABA's Equal Justice Conference in Phoenix, AZ. Monahan runs the Pro Bono Project in partnership with Georgia Legal Services Program and supports volunteer coordinated efforts across the state. One of his strengths is developing online and other technology supports for volunteer attorneys serving low-income clients at no or low fee.
