Seeing Ghosts - Lawyer-drafted pleadings for pro se litigants are scaring fewer courts

This article from the ABA Journal discusees the increase in "unbundled" or "limited scope" representation, whereby a lawyer may, for instance, draft a pleading for the pro se client, who files and argues the matter on his or her own behalf in court.

It discusses changing opinions from courts and ethics regulators, who have traditionally been reluctant to permit pleadings ghostwritten by lawyers out of concern that they might give pro se litigants unfair advantages, in some way mislead courts and encourage frivolous litigation.
