Reinstatement of Entitlement to Disability Benefits

The Social Security Administration has published final rules regarding the reinstatement of entitlement provision in section 112 of the Ticket to Work and Work Incentives Improvement Act of 1999. This provision allows former social security disability and supplemental security income disability or blindness beneficiaries, whose entitlement or eligibility had been terminated due to their work activity, to have their entitlement or eligibility reinstated in a timely fashion if they become unable to do substantial gainful work.
