Women Helping Women Event Showcases Savannah Advocate

The "Women Helping Women" exhibit, sponsored by Planned Parenthood, Sentient Bean, and AWWIN, will hang at the Sentient Bean, 13 East Park Avenue (on the south end of Forsyth Park), from February 21, 2006 through April 1, 2006. The GLSP exhibit features our own Wanda Andrews and the outstanding work she does as an advocate for women and their right to live a violence-free life.
On March 2, 2006 at 7:00 p.m., there be an opening reception at the Sentient Bean to recognize the work of distinguished women and organizations that work to improve women's lives.
Mark your calendars and plan to attend. But if you cannot attend the reception, please try to swing by the Sentient Bean sometime during the month of March to view the exhibits.
