The National Senior Citizens Law Center is pleased to announce the publication of a new nursing home consumer guide, The Baby Boomer's Guide to Nursing Home Care. The guide is a 200-page paperback that covers the whole spectrum of nursing home consumer issues -- finding a nursing home, admission, care planning, Medicare, Medicaid, quality of care, transfers, health care decision-making, etc. The guide is written in a reader-friendly question-and-answer format, with a multitude of tips, examples, and cautions.

The Baby Boomer's Guide to Nursing Home Care is currently available through the National Senior Citizens Law Center ((202) 289-6976, ext. 201, or http://www.nsclc.org/news/06/06/babyboomersguide.htm), and will be available through bookstores starting on August 25.
