Atlanta, Georgia- The State Bar of Georgia General Practice and Trial Law Section is hosting an “Ask-a-Lawyer” day in 12 locations in Georgia on Thursday, May 20, 2010.

The free advice clinic program is aimed at providing help to local low-income families and seniors. The General Practice and Trial Law Section is partnering with the State Bar of Georgia Pro Bono Project and Georgia Legal Services Program in hosting the event.

The free advice clinics will be held in Albany, Augusta, Brunswick, Columbus, Dalton, Douglasville, Gainesville, Macon, Rome, Savannah, Valdosta and Waycross

Dozens of lawyers from the State Bar section will volunteer their time to provide free consultations in the areas of Consumer Law, Wills and Powers of Attorney, and Family Law.
