Nonprofit boards of directors are often passionate about the cause they support and anxious to find ways to help the organization. But that doesn't mean they know what they're doing when it comes to governing a nonprofit. The IRS has become very focused on corporate governance and whether nonprofit boards govern effectively, as evidenced by the very specific questions on the new Form 990. The IRS makes it clear that they want nonprofit boards to adopt certain policies, such as a Conflict of Interest Policy. But what other policies does your organization need?

During this one hour webcast, our speaker will address:

Why your organization needs a board policy manual;
What policies and procedures your organization should include; and
How to implement board policies.
