Many nonprofits hire workers or assist clients who are not citizens of the U.S. These nonprofits need to be aware of the immigration laws; however, the immigration laws are often confusing and seem to be changing regularly. During this one hour webcast, our speaker will discuss compliance with immigration laws including:

  • Completing and maintaining I-9 forms,
  • Best practices for self-audits of immigration-related documentation,
  • E-Verify and the Georgia law (HB 87) imposing E-verify,
  • Law enforcement aspects of HB 87 and how they may affect nonprofits that serve immigrants, and
  • The re-emergence of Social Security "no-match" letters
